The air dispersion modeler should be familiar with several of those, with their strengths and weaknesses. The background knowledge needed to build up to that level of expertise takes up a major portion of this book. However, simple air dispersion models can be developed with only a minimum of background knowledge, and we can learn a lot from such models.
